The project consists in providing populations with permanent water reservoirs for their activities in the project area, which suffers from a recurrent water shortage, especially in the dry season.

The service is divided into three (3) distinct parts:

• Updating studies (environmental and social, topographical, geotechnical, soil, hydrological and hydraulic impact, proposal for the development of works such as weirs, canals, dykes, water troughs, basins and market garden areas)
• Control and supervision of the cleaning works of the basin, development of the irrigated perimeter, reconstruction and protection of the dykes, development of the access roads and their sanitation works
• Raising awareness and training in the maintenance, management and operation of the structures at each site
